Instead of the Nagler for about $580,I've opted for the 35 mm panoptic plus?

I've decided on the 35mm panoptic including a 9x50mm right angle finder scope,and 8x24 baader Hyperion for the same price as one31mm mmmonster lol Nagler.Is this a wise choice? The 35 mm panoptic is for deep sky observation aside from the extra afov with Nagler I see no difference.Will the panoptic cover about as much sky?I can't resist the few extras I can get with savings, by purchasing the panoptic instead of the Nagler..
