Why does he ask me these questions?

there is this guy that i know and i went on facebook last night and he said hey i said hey back then he asked if he asked me out what would i say to him i told him i would say maybe just maybe then i asked him if he thinks that i like him then he said kinda then i asked him why he thinks that then he said reasons gtg bye why does he ask me these questions i dont think he likes but is there any reason why he ask me those questions
