Crap!! Please I Need Help!! Please answer!!!?

Ok so there is this girl in my gym class that I really like. I met her last week but we have been in gym for about 6 weeks. I have been talking to her friend that she hangs with in gym, and the girl that I like is with her, so I started talking to her. I found out that her favorite baseball team is Red Sox, and that she loves baseball just like me. So I finally got the balls to add her on Facebook, which she added me pretty fast. So yesterday I talked to her in gym, and then when I got home we talked for about 40 minutes on Facebook, and then in gym we did the same but I talked to her in bits a pieces. So when I got home I talked to her on Facebook for like 10 minutes, and by the way my goal is to get her number by the end of the school year, which is only 17 days away, but when I decided to ask her today I said this over Facebook. Hey I have to go, but can I text you?, and about 30 seconds later she logged out and thats how it ended. Last night when we talked she said well I gtg but TTYL. So does this mean that I messed stuff up, and is it possible that I could still make this work? I have first block with her tomorrow and I have a feeling that its going to be awkward.
