Did I make him think i Like him?

Well I use to like this guy who is two years older then me but then I stopped. Now after almost 3 months of not talking me and him got the Parts of a married couple in a play and we have like started texting each other and today I was texting him and I was like "what r u good at?" and he says nothing so I say u must b good at acting cuz u got the lead in a play and then he is like nah I am not so I say well I can't really argue with that because I have only seen u in one thing but I think u did really great in that play then he didn't answer for awhile then said gtg did I do something wrong? Plz help!!!!! (also this isnt my account it is my sisters but i want to know if an eighth grader would want to date a sixth grader? but yea thanks)
